Gulf Beach RV Resort – Biloxi MS – August 19-22, 2022

Friday:
Travel down to Biloxi was very good. We arrived a little early, so we stopped on the beach and had lunch. After lunch we made our way to the the RV resort and arrived at the RV park around 12:15.  Our site was good and had no issues getting in the site and getting hooked up.

Saturday:
Saturday morning, we took a mile and a half walk on the beach. We made it to one of the rest areas that had the markings for Hurricane Camille and Katrina. After lunch we went to the Katrina Memorial and to the old Biloxi cemetery. The memorial was small but interesting. The cemetery was huge, and the grass was high. There were no straight lines of markers so I had no idea how they could mow the grass. I guess they just weeedeated it. Some looked like maybe the family mowed it.

Saturday night we ate at The Chimneys and the food and service was very good. After supper we went to The Purple Reign Tribute at the hard rock casino. It was very good.

Sunday:
We ate breakfast at the waffle house. Then we did a Biloxi visitor center which is a museum itself. The outside needed some work, but the inside was very nice. We went to the pool and took it easy for the rest of the afternoon. It rained during the night.

Monday:
We got rained on while trying to tear down. We dropped our Airstream off at the dealer on the way home to have some warranty work done. It rained off and on the whole way home. But overall it was a good trip relaxing not too busy. We enjoyed our stay at the resort. The beach front pool and easy access to the beach was very enjoyable.
