Hi! We’re Jack and Diane Noel, and this is where we share our travels, adventures, and life on the road with our Airstream, Frances.
Our Airstream journey began in 2022 with Maria, our 27’ Flying Cloud. We were brand-new Airstreamers with a lot to learn, but Maria took good care of us. Over the next three and a half years, she carried us to new places, introduced us to some wonderful people, and gave us memories we’ll always treasure.
In May 2025, we began a new chapter when we brought home Frances, our 2025 Airstream Classic 28RBT.
And the adventure continues.
From Nervous Beginners to Happy Travelers
When we started, every trip seemed to come with a new question.
Did we pack everything?
Where are we going to stop for fuel?
Can we get this thing into that campsite?
And what exactly is making that noise?
With every mile, though, we learned a little more.
The unfamiliar became familiar. Challenges became stories. Campgrounds became favorite places. And people we met along the way became friends.
We discovered that RV travel isn’t just about where you’re going. It’s about everything that happens along the way.

You’ll find our adventures organized by destination, along with the places we’ve stayed, things we’ve discovered, and some of the lessons we’ve learned along the way.
Some trips are big adventures. Others are quick getaways close to home.
We enjoy them all.
The Road Ahead
There are still plenty of places we haven’t seen, roads we haven’t traveled, and destinations waiting to be checked off our bucket list.
We’re looking forward to longer trips, new rallies, beautiful campgrounds, small towns, back roads, good food, unexpected discoveries, and more time spent with friends.
We don’t know exactly where all those roads will lead.
And that’s part of the fun.

Tropic Hideaway
Tropic Hideaway – August 21 – 24, 2026
The trip to Foley, Alabama, was enjoyable, with spacious and comfortable campsites. The group spent time relaxing, exploring the area, and enjoying the amenities. The return trip home was smooth, and they are now preparing for their next trip to Savannah, Georgia, with the Coastal Carolina Airstream Club.
Gulfport Luxury RV Resort
Gulfport Luxury RV Resort – July 16 – 19
This is Hayes and Avery’s first RV trip. We are heading to Gulfport Luxury RV Resort, staying in site #110. The trip included swimming, biking, and a visit to Ocean’s Adventures to see dolphins and sea lions. The kids slept well and enjoyed the trip, making it a memorable experience. Taylor dropped off the kids about 7:20 a.m.
Camp Airstream Nashville
May 30 through June 8, 2026
This trip to Nashville included finishing traveling the scenic Natchez Trace, all 444 miles. We explored downtown Nashville and Franklin, TN, and attended Camp Airstream. Highlights included the Gibson guitar factory tour, a downtown tour of Nashville, a barbecue dinner, a night at the Grand Ole Opry, and backstage tour….
Poplar Bluff MO – Jack’s Graduation
Poplar Bluff, MO Trip – May 21-23, 2026
We got on the road at 6:15 a.m. The weather was supposed to be rainy, but it was beautiful all day. We ran into some traffic north of Memphis, but it wasn’t terrible. Surprisingly, going through Memphis was not bad at all.
We stopped at Love’s for fuel and to prepare lunch. We ate lunch on the road.
Foley RV Center & Airstream of Mississippi
I am heading to Foley RV Center today for a little maintenance work. While on Palmetto Cove, the front AC unit stopped working. We made it fine with just the bedroom ac unit.
I left out at 5:00 a.m. so I could arrive for my 8:15 a.m. appointment. Jake and Vinny just worked on it, and after a little troubleshooting, a reason was determined. The MicroAir Soft Start had failed.
Palmetto Cove Cleveland SC
Palmetto Cove – May 4 – May 11, 2026
Streamin’ in the Mountains – Palmetto Cove. Heading out after lunch on May 4th for our trip to a SC Coastal Rally at Palmetto Cove Rv Park. The trip began with a smooth drive to Hoover Met RV Park in Birmingham, Alabama. After a long travel day to Palmetto Cove RV Park, the group visited the Biltmore Estate and much more.
Gulfport Luxury RV Resort
Gulfport Luxury RV Resort – April 8-12, 2026
We had an amazing time at Gulfport Luxury RV Resort with friends Chris and Carey from Mineral Bluff, Georgia. Despite strong winds, we enjoyed biking, exploring antique shops, and delicious meals. Our trip ended with a memorable concert in New Orleans on Saturday night, featuring Leonid and Friends, a talented Chicago cover band.
Region 3 Rally, Lakeland FL
February 28, 2026 – March 9, 2026
A road trip to the Region 3 Rally in Lakeland, Florida, included stops at Tropic Hideaway for a concert by White Tie Rock Ensemble and finally at Fun-Sun Rv Park for the rally. The rally featured seminars, vendor booths, and social events, with highlights including a potluck tasting and open mic night. The trip concluded with a drive back home,
Foley RV Center & Airstream of Mississippi
Foley RV Center & Airstream of Mississippi. I am off early on a Thursday morning to take Frances in for some warranty work. Nothing major, just minor things that needed to be fixed.Thursday – February 19, 2026Foley RV Center – Airstream of Mississippi. early around 5 AM to make sure I can get there before 8:30am.
