Hey there! We’re Jack and Diane Noel. We began our journey in 2022 when we purchased our first Airstream, a 27’ FBQ Flying Cloud affectionately named Maria. She was a dependable companion for two rookies for 3.5 years, taking us on many adventures. In May 2025, we picked up our new 2025 Classic 28RBT, which we’ve named Frances. We’re filled with anticipation for the opportunities and adventures that await us in this new rig.
Our travels in 2025 took us to Jekyll Island, Georgia, the Top of Georgia Airstream Park in Helen, Georgia, and Lakewood Camping Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. These three destinations were part of our membership with the SC Coastal Airstream Club. We’ll also make several trips closer to home to our favorite places, including the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Natchez, Mississippi, Gulf Shores, Foley, and Birmingham, Alabama.
Starting as nervous beginners, with each trip we have become more confident and comfortable exploring some great new places. Each experience has helped shape us. Challenges become lessons and destinations become fond memories.
Now, we’re excited to plan longer trips, checking off our bucket list destinations and turning our dreams into reality. The road ahead is full of possibilities, and we can’t wait to embrace them.
Our pre-planned trips for 2026 include ACI Trips with the Region 3 Rally at Sun ‘n Fun Aerospace Expo Campground in Lakeland, Florida, a SC Coastal Club rally to Palmetto Cove RV Park in Cleveland, South Carolina, a Georgia on My Mind trip at Skidaway Island State Park in Savannah, Georgia, and Christmas on the Beach at Lakewood Camping Resort in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Our website documents our travels and experiences by location. We often revisit these posts to recall our adventures, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
2025 Wrap-up
We think back to what we thought Airstreaming was about back in 2022. We did not know anything about the Airstream Club International, and surely did not know anything about regions and club memberships. We have been able to attend several places that we would not have seen without the SC Coastal Airstream Club. We have made so many new friends on our trips with them.
We took 14 trips this year and traveled somewhere every month except January. We have traveled to MS, LA, AL, MO, GA, and SC. We finish the year with 8887 miles traveled. We have been on the road for 61 days. We spent $2128 on fuel and got an average of 13.14 mpg. Overall, a great year.
Lakewood Camping Resort
December 2-8, 2025
We attended the SC Coastal Airstream Club, Christmas Rally at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. It was a fun-filled event despite the rainy weather. The group enjoyed activities like happy hour, bingo, a Christmas craft, and a catered dinner. The rally provided a great opportunity to connect with old friends and meet new ones.
Gulfport Luxury RV Resort
November 6-9, 2025
The trip to Gulfport Luxury RV Resort included a visit to the INFINITY Science Center, a non-profit museum featuring exhibits on space exploration, Earth science, engineering, and technology.
We also enjoyed outdoor activities like bike riding, relaxing outside and watching the sunset.
River View RV Resort – Vidalia LA

Hot Air Balloon Festival!!
We’re back to River View RV Resort in Vidalia, LA for our second Natchez Air Balloon Festival. Also though, the weather did not cooperate with the Hot Air Balloons, it was great for riding our bikes, going to the markets and just relaxing.

Gulfport Luxury RV Resort
September 26-30, 2025
This is our fifth trip to Gulfport Luxury RV Resort in 2025. This is just a relaxing trip, with no plans to speak of. Hopefully to enjoy the pool and lazy river, and grab recipe Poboy somewhere.
We will also be doing a little planning for our trip in April 2026 when our friends Chris and Carey join us here…
Top of Georgia Rally
August 31-September 7, 2025
We are excited to make this trip to the Top Of Georgia Airstream Park with the South Carolina Coastal Airstream Club. We will stay in Birmingham, visit with Jack’s brother Andy while in town.
Monday morning we are heading to Blue Ridge to see Chris and Carey, then heading into Top of Georgia.
Gulfport Luxury RV Resort
August 7-10, 2025
We are off on our third shakedown trip for Frances. A relaxing trip to Gulfport Luxury RV Resort included a a concert with Billy vs Elton. It is our second time to see them and we know it will be a great event. We also will add something new. We rented a bungalow for Matt, Taylor and kids. We are looking forward to hanging out at the pool.

July 17-20, 2025
We are off on our second shakedown trip for Frances. A relaxing trip to Gulfport Luxury RV Resort included a visit to Aunt Jenny’s Catfish and Julep Room, a concert, One Vision of Queen and a day at the pool. We enjoyed the new rig and the park’s amenities, including the beach, pool, and lazy river. It’s was a hot, but great weekend.

June 19-22, 2025
We embarked on our first shakedown trip in our new Airstream, Frances, to Gulfport, Mississippi. We enjoyed the pool, beach, and a Colt Ford concert. Despite the heat and noise from the Scrapping the Coast event. The trip was great, and we are happy with our new RV. We had to trouble shoot a few setup items, but nothing to serious.
Goodbye To My Maria

On December 29, 2021 we picked up our first Airstream. She was a 2022 Flying Cloud 27FB. We have been on so many great journeys over these past 3 1/2 years.
After several days of cleaning our stuff out of the 2022 Flying Cloud, today was the day. Maria was clean inside and out! Looking her best.
