We liked this site: backs up to the dog park and pool. There’s also a nice size grassy area for the dogs. Picnic tables and grills are aged but are fine. Our site, with our 27′ Airstream, is level which is really nice. This is a huge park. I wouldn’t have ever thought about the dog park but Sprat and Gus have enjoyed being off the leash. They are still figuring out being on the line.
It looks like they are updating the sites closer to the water park, wave pool and Gulf. There are several public showers/restroom areas throughout the park. We don’t have anything to compare it to but this seems nice and the price is around $32 per night. We will definitely be back.

The weather on the way was windy but sunny. Jack did well and we got 12.9 miles per gallon so we thought that was great!
Bay Saint Louis is so cute. We ate at Trappani’s in Bay St. Louis and it was delicious. We did a few shops but skipped a bunch. We drove the beach, the houses and beach look very nice.
We went to Mitchell’s WGI Color Guard Competition on Saturday. Brought back a lot of memories.
Waveland Mardi Gras Parade: Pictures Below
On Sunday we went to the Waveland Mardi Gras parade. We got a good parking spot but waited at least an hour for the parade. Jack was shocked at how big and how many people were there. We left after about an hour and went to eat at the Blind Tiger. It was OK not bad at all just not exciting. The service was good and we didn’t wait long for a table or our food, so it was all good. Next time I want to try the Dock of the Bay or Dan B’s. Dan B’s was really crowded and didn’t seem like our crowd but I just wanted to eat there.
