Hoover Met RV Park – April 1-3, 2022 – Site #46
Friday: Very good travels today, not much wind at all – yay!! The Hoover Met RV Park is $40 per night. It is very nice, although it is a parking lot. We had a pull through sites and full hook ups. We found it to be a great place to walk. There is a lot of activities going on. They have a dog area that is close to but not a fenced in park. It feels very safe and light well at night. In the case of inclement weather, they open the stadium for RVers to take safety. It’s well done. Probably won’t be great in hundred-degree weather but our weather was perfect.
Friday night We attended the Bruce Hornsby and the Noise Makers concert. They do put on a great show. They are all such talented musicians. Tour Dates and Live videos
Saturday: We spent the mid-day hours with by brother and his wife (Andy and Pam) on an excursion to Helena AL. We stopped by the Caboose Welcome Center had a great lunch at Depot Deli & Grill. The food was great and really enjoyed the view of the spillway off the balcony.
After lunch, we took a walk-through town and ended up at the Helena Museum. We spent about an hour going through the museum and had a great time.
Back at the RV Park there was so much going on. Baseball, volleyball, soccer, lacrosse, and kids all over the playground area, all at the same time across the complex.
Sunday: Travel Day, we had big plans for the day but decided that we had better get all things together before traveling home.
We very much enjoyed the Hoover RV Park and look forward to coming again.
