Thursday, May 21, 2026
We got on the road at 6:15 a.m. The weather was supposed to be rainy, but it was beautiful all day. We ran into some traffic north of Memphis, but it wasn’t terrible. Surprisingly, going through Memphis was not bad at all.

We stopped at Love’s for fuel and to prepare lunch. We ate lunch on the road. We got to Camelot RV Park in time to get set up and take a short rest. Again, the rain held off all day.

Everyone met at the Mexican restaurant at 4 o’clock to eat, and we had plenty of time before the graduation ceremony. We had pretty good seats and could see Jack, and he could see us. He was ranked 19th out of 309! So proud of him. They have a huge class. The event was long, but they did a good job of keeping it going. We got back to the camp around 9:00 p.m. We were all tired, so straight home and to bed.

Friday, May 22, 2026
It rained all day on Friday. We messed around and went to a few stores and had lunch at Steak’n Shake. Billy met us for lunch, so we had a good visit with him. Then we went to the house for a good visit with everyone else and dinner. They all came after dinner to see the new trailer. It was a good, short visit.

Saturday, May 23, 2026
Heading home today. Hopefully, we’ll have a good travel day. We went in a different direction this time. It seemed to be a little faster. We stopped at QT for fuel in West Memphis and made one rest area stop before arriving home.

A great weekend visiting everyone. Proud of Jack and overall great travels.
