Friday: We had to go to Gulfport for them to install the new backup camera. The old one was defective. We ate lunch and then traveled to Ponchatoula. It was a little over an hour drive. The RV Park is huge! Super nice, lots of amenities – most at an extra charge. They also have lots of activities going on. This weekend they will celebrate Halloween on Saturday. People are going all out with decorations. Thank goodness we are at the end in the back and no one very close to us so we decided not to participate.
Saturday: We went to several antique stores and then went to lunch at Middendorf’s in Manchac, LA. We had to get back since they wouldn’t let all the traffic in from 5:30pm to 8:pm for the trick-or-treating. We cook and I sunned for a little while, just at the RV. Jack watched football and took a rest.
Sunday: We had no plans, but we will stay here all day. Jack’s cooking a brisket and I will probably sun when the fog lifts. Saturday morning my hair was wet from the fog, so we are not walking until the fog is gone today!
We got our first flamingo today. There were two other airstream is here.
The travel down was good, and the new camera works great! The other one never worked great to start with.
